Donate Life Connecticut and New Haven Public Schools have formed a partnership to raise awareness about the lifesaving benefits of organ donation and transplantation, and to commit to educating our youth about healthy living to prevent end organ disease.  The partnership is hosting its second annual symposium on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, from 8:30 to 12:00 at Curran Community Center, Gateway Community College, 20 Church St.New Haven, CT.

The symposium will host a variety of guest speakers and idea exchanges.  There will be transplant recipients, living organ donors, deceased donor family members, members of Donate Life Connecticut, leaders from New Haven Public Schools, representatives from New England Donor Services, The NAACP, various disease advocacy groups, and local health care organizations. It will surely be an event that will dispel rumors about donation, increase health awareness, and inspire students to further pursue STEM education and STEM careers.

The event is open to all those interested in this important issue.
